An Event to Say No to Violence Against Women was Organized at MAKÜ

A violence prevention event was organized at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) with the contributions of the Faculty of Education, MAKÜ Women's and Family Studies Application and Research Center, MAKÜ PDR Center, PDR Community, Burdur Provincial Police Department, Burdur Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, and UCİM Child Abuse Prevention Association.

At the event, where the students of the Faculty of Education Music Education Department performed a music recital titled "Play Against Violence", the Ministry of Interior's KADES application, the works of the Violence Prevention and Monitoring Center Directorate (ŞÖNİM), and the UCİM Child Abuse Prevention Association were introduced. Information aimed at preventing violence against women, children, and animals was provided at the stands set up in the event area, and brochures were distributed. The "Best Narcotics Police Mother" project was introduced at the stands set up by the Burdur Provincial Police Department.

The event, held in the Avşar Han building, was attended by Acting Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Firdevs SAVİ ÇAKAR, academicians, and a large number of students.
